It’s happy days for interior design hounds this weekend when the Houston Design Center throws open the doors of its typically to-the-trade-only showrooms for the annual designer sample sale. Add to the many bargains, design tips from Mitzi Beach of the Design Network, and designer intel from Jessy Fuller.

While the experts will share their wisdom on Friday morning, the sale runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

A preview of the showrooms reveals a number of amazing bargains that should have eager shoppers lining up well before doors open. Case in point is the Henredon king-size bed at Bunch & Shoemaker that is marked down from $7,800 to the ridiculous price of $1,750.
